I Love Fall...

By far, my very favorite season is Fall. Every August I hear myself saying, "I'm tired of the heat, or I'm tired of watering the yard." I enjoy those first nights where you can feel a little nip in the air. The way the trees turn vibrant orange and red. The smell of woodsmoke. Putting on my favorite jeans after months of shorts. Wearing my favorite jacket again(and finding money from last Winter in the pocket :) The whole family looks forward to comfort food dinners like hearty soups and thick chili. Bryan knows it's Fall when I serve my yummy beef stew. We all enjoy trips to the pumpkin patch and helping Grandpa burn leaves. Oh, and I can't forget Football. I love a cold, rainy Monday Night Football game with sweats, blankets, and a crockpot dinner.

But, as much as I love Fall, you can be sure that I'll be biting at the bit to plant my garden, wear shorts, and fire up the Bar BQ come late winter.

So a fond farewell to sights like this:

And a happy hello to sights like this:
