Oh Christmas Tree...

As tradition mandates, we took a pic of the kids in front of the Christmas Tree.

We really liked our tree this year. However, when we went out to cut it down, none of us were too crazy about it. Lots of holes and not quite tall enough. After we decorated it, we couldn't seem to get enough of it. The lights were on every night and almost every day. Jill reminded me of when I was her age by lying on the floor, under the branches and gazing up at the lights. I used to love to do that. When it was time to take out the tree I anticipated sad feelings from the kids, especially Jill. I remember as a girl, feeling sorry for the thrown out tree. Not Jill, so much. I rejoiced in my reclaimed living room space. Goodbye, Christmas Tree.
