catch up time...

So sorry that I haven't been posting. To all my loyal followers: Don't give up on me! (crickets chirping).

It has been very busy around our little piece of paradise. The sun has shown itself again, which means we show ourselves out again. Our garden has really taken off. We planted it in late March and we have already harvested radishes, onions, and broccoli. Anyone want some broccoli or radishes? We've got plenty.

Also, Hayden has been loving his first season of baseball. He's having a lot of fun, has a terrific coach, good teammates, and he's showing that he's a pretty good hitter and has a good arm on him. Way to go, Hayden!

As I write this post, it is Memorial Day Weekend. I'm thinking of our upcoming summer vacation. I love that time of year so much because I get my kids back from school! We have lots of plans for this summer. One that I'm really excited about is our trip to California. We will be seeing our friends, the Swanks.

The last time we were with them, we realized we must really be close if we feel we can say nothing and read the paper.

We are all looking forward to summer. We plan on enjoying every minute.
